See Max Cavalera on 'Headbangers Ball: The Year in Metal' This Weekend!

Founding Sepultura member and current Soulfly/ Cavalera Conspiracy frontman Max Cavalera will be featured on this weekend's special edition of "Headbangers Ball: The Year in Metal."

For more than twenty years, thrashers have tuned in to the “Headbangers Ball” and on December 18, MTV2 will once again honor the biggest tours, craziest stories and top metal releases of the year with the “Headbangers Ball: The Year in Metal.” The half-hour special, which kicks off at midnight, will be hosted by national radio personality Jose Mangin.

The can’t-miss half-hour special presentation will feature some of the biggest names in metal, including Anthrax, Max Cavalera, In this Moment, Ozzy Osbourne bassist Rob Blasko and editors from Revolver and Decibel magazines, who will all be on hand to look back at 2010’s defining moments of metal. If that wasn’t enough, the show will also provide viewers with VIP access to an exclusive performance from Brooklyn’s own Life of Agony.

Soulfly released their 7th studio album Omen earlier this year to critical acclaim. Marking some of the heaviest tracks in the band's loaded arsenal, including lead single "Rise of the Fallen" featuring Dillinger Escape Plan frontman Greg Puciato, go RIGHT HERE to get your copy now.
Cavalera Conspiracy are getting ready to release their sophomore album Blunt Force Trauma later this winter. Stay tuned for more to come very soon.
