What did I learn today about Cavalera Conspiracy's guitar giant, Max Cavalera? Well, besides the fact that the man loves his Häagen-Dazs dulce de leche ice cream, I also learned that he loves to interact with his fans. Back at the end of March, CC gave die-hards the opportunity to ask Max anything that was on their mind - from how he sets up his amps and guitars, to his thoughts on Latin American metal, to his favorite Conspiracy songs. A personal favorite answer of mine comes from being asked about where Max feels the band gets their strongest response live. Max simply states, "Best reaction is probably Russia, and Argentina. Weird crowds normally in Holland (too stoned!)." You got to love a man who says it like it is.
