John Petrucci Joins Guitar Legend Joe Satriani On Stage in New York City

Joe Satriani is one of guitar's most revered players. And when he came to NYC in support of his 14th studio album Black Swans and Wormhole Wizards, Dream Theater guitarist John Petrucci stopped by to join Satriani on stage. 

The two guitar heroes performed "Summer Song" off Satriani's 1992 commercial success The Extremist at the Best Buy Theater in Times Square. Watch some fan filmed footage of the jam out below. 

Dream Theater are getting ready to record their 12th studio album and follow-up to 2009's Black Clouds and Silver Linings, but first the guys must name a new drummer. Stay tuned for updates to come soon.
