Congress Votes FOR Indefinite Detention

Today, in a shot against personal liberty and a clear violation of the U.S. Constitution, the House of Representatives voted against an Amendment to the NDAA that would ban indefinite detention of American citizens.

The final vote was 182 for the amendment and 238 against the amendment.

All 5 of Oklahoma's Congressmen voted against this amendment.

Personally, this is really disturbing. Our U.S. Representative's obviously need a refresher course in the U.S. Constitution. How they could blatantly vote for something that clearly violates the supreme law of our land is beyond me.

I urge you to contact your legislators and let them know how disappointed you are in them.

If our elected officials continue to vote against liberty, it could very well be time to get rid of them.
