Retro influences fuelled by no-nonsense Pop ideas, The Essex four-piece appear fresh and ready for a debut album assault, whilst previous gig reviews have used the terms fast paced and magnificently tight when choosing their typed words of praise - This soulful vocal offering pulls Indie credentials from all the post classic angles. The Brights come across as a slightly serious but much cooler Housemartins, which is more of an approval than a lame comparison - we happened to be very fond of those fellas from Hull.
