Richard Lee - Eighty Two And A Half Chances - Album Release Competition.

Richard`s debut `Beautiful Car Wreck`was stacked full of emotional observations and tricky little guitar twists - Overall a fine acoustic effort, polished with frequent echoes of periodic musical inspiration. Jump forward to `Eighty Two And A Half Chances`, the second long player release from the UK singer/songwriter and we`re treated with similar charm and success. Richard Lee has been sensible enough to retain those endearing qualities from `Beautiful Car Wreck` while magnificently expanding a fuller band sound - Many artists have been left with arms flaying having faced increased production techniques and in-depth melodies.
I have a copy of the new release to hand over as a marvellous competition prize, just mail us on the usual address and your pursuit of musical awareness will be a step nearer completion - Ends on March 7th.
Link"An album of upbeat songs with infectious melodies and stirring choruses. With subjects ranging from life, love, divine intervention and the still small voice in the back of your head it goes places that we?ve all been casting an uplifting light, even on the downbeat topics. From full band epic tracks through to the quietest heartfelt acoustic tracks this is an album that is destined to make an impact wherever heard".

The upward lyrical focus to match the preferred upward guitar strokes, a progressive style and exquisite percussion - Tracks like `This Side` and `Sunlight` are very much Sunday morning flirtations whilst the full inventory is proudly displayed during the extremely catchy and future festival anthem `Hook Line and Sinker`. I love this release to bits, previous acoustically based reviews on mojophenia have been nothing but favourable but I`m sure Richard Lee has a darker more punchy side. I`m not suggesting ear shattering feedback or random guitar mutilation, a bolder less refined sound would be welcome on the next offering - Now there`s a prime example of having my cake & eating it.
