Corey Taylor To Chat Live Online Monday, July 11

Slipknot/Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor will participate in a live web chat on Monday, July 11 at 5 PM EST/2 PM PST, interacting with fans and reading from his forthcoming book Seven Deadly Sins - Settling the Argument Between Born Bad and Damaged Good. The book is a combination autobiography and discussion of the nature of sin; in Taylor's words, "my interpretation of the seven deadly sins is basically they're not sins at all. They are human characteristics that we all share...And it's me making that point of you can live with these urges, you can live with these hungers and still be a good person." To join the live chat, visit livestream.com/coreytaylor.

Taylor also recently sat for an extended interview with Jim Florentine of That Metal Show, which is being hosted on his own website in three parts. The first installment appeared on Tuesday, July 5, and can be seen here. The next two parts will go live on July 12 (the day Seven Deadly Sins is released) and July 19.

Taylor will also be embarking on a short promotional tour for the book, hitting the following cities:

July 15 Bookends, Ridgewood, NJ 6 PM
July 16 Book Review, Huntington, NY 7 PM
July 18 Barnes & Noble Tribeca, New York, NY 7 PM
July 19 Borders, Chicago, IL 1 PM
July 20 Book Soup, W. Hollywood, CA 7 PM
July 29 Barnes & Noble, W. Des Moines, IA 7 PM
